Hello mic teshting 1-2-3
I do plan to make this one a bilingual blog...so just testing. Blogger does support hindi fonts, but not Bangla yet. So here is a roundabout way. If anyone knows a better way, please let me know.

Ani, that looks like misspelt Assamese - anyway, that will do. Can you send me the code?

Thats precisely the problem I am having. It is not a scanned document. I used a bengali word processing software, converted it to pdf and then saved it as a JPEG. Tenuous process. Tried several sizes.
But each time blogger is resizing it to this :(

Looks like blogger does not support hindi, but Google does. I am not exactly sure about which font - but you can have a look at this blog - http://hindi.blogspot.com/
Livejournal too supports unicode hindi. For a primer, go to http://www.rediff.com/search/2002/jul/29blog.htm

as for hindi you can use any unicode font.. works in google, blogger, bloglines etc. More info at देवनागरी and for advanced stuff, there's a bunch of links at प्रतिभास
